CaTECH Systems Receives Growth Investment from WestView Capital Partners July 24, 2025

Markham, ON and Boston, MA – CaTECH Systems (“CaTECH” or the “Company”), a leading provider of integrated infrastructure services across Canada, announced today that it has received a growth investment from WestView Capital Partners (“WestView”), a Boston-based private equity firm focused on partnering with founder-led middle-market companies. The investment will support CaTECH’s continued expansion and enable the Company to further strengthen its service capabilities and geographic footprint.

Founded in 1989, CaTECH specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of mission-critical structured cabling and related technology infrastructure. The Company has evolved beyond its structured cabling roots to deliver fully integrated infrastructure solutions, including networking, communications, audiovisual, and client-specific electrical services. Within this broad footprint, CaTECH is a recognized leader in Canada in data center fiber and cabling solutions. As the market undergoes a significant upgrade cycle driven by AI and the transition to hyperscale infrastructure, the Company is well suited to capture a greater piece of this fast-growing, exciting segment.

“Since our founding over 35 years ago, CaTECH has always prioritized our people, our culture, and delivering outstanding service to our customers,” said Scott Forrestall, President & CEO of CaTECH. “We handpicked WestView as our partner because of their long-standing track record of supporting founder-led businesses and helping them scale without compromising their culture or commitment to customers. We’re excited to work together as we enter our next chapter of growth.”

Cathy Forrestall, Executive Vice President, added, “We couldn’t be more energized about the future. We’ve built something special, and with WestView’s support, we’re ready to expand our impact and continue building an exceptional Company for our employees and customers.”

“We’re excited to be backing the existing team and supporting them as they embark on this next period of growth,” said Carlo von Schroeter, Managing Partner at WestView Capital Partners. “We’re especially excited about the Company’s potential to build upon its strong audiovisual, data cabling, and fiber business by accelerating growth in its data center vertical via the shift to AI and hyperscale data center infrastructure.”

Thomas Gilligan, Vice President at WestView, added, “We are extremely impressed by the strength and commitment of the leadership team working alongside Scott and Cathy, including Nick Diakopoulos, Rick Pinho, Miranda Bifolchi, and Enzo Bordone, each of whom has played a key role in positioning the Company where it is today and will be instrumental in scaling the business going forward.”
