Peerless Industrial Group Acquires Security Chain Company

Peerless Industrial Group, Inc. (“Peerless”) announced today it has acquired Security Chain Company (SCC) from Burns Bros., Inc..

SCC was founded in 1969 as a designer and distributor of winter traction products. SCC offers a comprehensive line of winter traction products and a wide variety of other products for transportation and industry such as load binders, chain & webbing assemblies, lifting slings and bulk chain, cable & accessories. SCC is headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon and also has sales offices in Japan and Germany.

Peerless will add the SCC products as a complement to Peerless’ existing product offering. “We are very excited about adding the SCC team, products and customers to the Peerless Industrial Group. The current employee team in Oregon will be retained and Peerless will continue to operate in the SCC location as well as its existing locations in Minnesota, Rhode Island, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. “SCC and Peerless share a common vision of excellence in product quality and customer service.
